    Conventional motor oil

    they went to 15-40 to make it simpler as it can be used year round. Used to be 10 weight in the winter and 30 summer forcing 2 changes a year in cold climates etc.. any Diesel rated oil is fine in any Diesel... I have used rotella as it was cheapest in WalMart... I remember towing our deuces...

    Brake Bleeding 101

    If it goes close to the floor with a hard pedal, it indicates that the brake shoes need to be adjusted closer to the drum....lucky you, only 25 adjustments per truck. If the pedal is spongy and hardens up with several applications it may be a bleeding issue.

    I believe he means the safety blowoff valve on the air tank. Should not open til 120 or more psi. Just put in a new one....

    Hydraulic Brake fluid

    and of course you can use Dot 3, as that is what was in there in the original days of the M105. Will probably have the famous yellow sticker for Dot 5 if it is new or converted. Your sticker is to remind you not to use Tractor Hydraulic Fluid or Power Steering Fluid or other stuff like that...
