The two holes are the two locations where the cab heater intakes are located usually. It is unusual to see both oppened up though. That is a very nice paint job on your truck.
That is interesting as the only two US can spouts I have seen are the screw on style. I guess I have more to see. I still love my NATO cans, but will keep my eyes out for the other type scout.
To further hijack this lets talk about NATO cans vs. US metal cans. I have four NATO cans and I LOVE them. They don't leak, they are well built, the original spouts are very high quality, and THEY POUR FAST AND SMOOTH. The one US metal one I have does on occasion leak if not screwed down far...
I might have a set of not so nice wood bows that would have them. You might be better off making your own new ones though as I don't thing there was anything unique about these verticles. I will check tomorrow to see what I have.
What are you picking up? I am right next to that base. If you run into any problems get in touch with me. Either catch me on chat or pm for my number. Need any M105 sides or other misc. MV junk. Yes I am a OD green addict selling to support his habbit:)
Well my GL travels have diminished over the last two years, but most of the problem came while visiting the Norfolk, Va. location. I would go there with printed out descriptions of many items I would want to see from the site. . When wanting to see these items I would get reactions all over the...

Trip Permit Application (VSA-42)
I don't see the form actually listed on the DMV site, but then again I don't think I have actually ever filled it out when at the DMV. The information desk just sends me to the teller, and they...
Ok I am going to finally get off the fence on this and get in on this trip. It looks like I will even be driving the deuce to instead of my daily transport. I am not sure if I will be able to attend all three days though. I think I am too late, but just in case I wear a Large. Where do I send my...
How is GL saying no help loading out supposed to eliminate their liability if they do end up helping. Either GL is responsible for damage or the employee is. I would think there would be more liability if they said they will help, but accept no liability then if they will not help but do so...
From what I understand that is the idea behind these new GL forums. Of course the GL reps only work regular hours. With luck these forums help bring attention to some things GL can improve on, or at least open some communication.
Well I signed it myself and dated it, but technically the seller is supposed to sign it. I could be creative I suppose, but I should not have to be. That and I prefer to not be creative that way.
Thanks for pointing that fine point out. I was refering mostly to items already listed on the site, but that are not for bid yet. I tweaked my suggestion a bit to help clarify. I know all about the ownership thing though.
I would like to see GL’s make one exception to its prohibition to its employees signing anything except GL paperwork. That one exception should be state temporary travel permits.
I don’t know about other states, but in Virginia you can get a three-day travel permit that only begins to count...
I would suggest to GL that they strongly suggest to the individual locations to be more accommodating on allowing inspection of items that might not be up for bid quite yet, but are listed.
I will often go to a location far from my home to inspect an item, and it is hit-or-miss if the guys...
I have run across some plans on how to make an earlier version similar to the simple centrifuge rotor out of a brake rotor and then 8" or so pipe. Don't get lazy on this stuff though as you can make quite a kenetic bomb when this is spinning at 1800/3600RPM. A nice heavy containment housing...
RE: What
One of those sewing machine boxes that had popped up in Richmond had been on my M105, but for some reason they split them up way back for sale. That box is not like the sewing machine boxes though as it appears to be taller, and has a different door configuration.
