That is just the worst.... Best of luck to you. Along with Chief_919, what part of NC do you think he might be? I'm down through Elizabeth City to Kitty Hawk fairly often. I'll keep an eye out as well.....
Silicone sealant would be a better term for it. You can get it at most auto parts stores. I ended up using the clear stuff. Dont recall how much I used.
When I did mine, I used C clamps in places it didnt sit right. LOTS of RTV!!! I'd stay away from the spray stuff, might not bond in areas that the cover does not come into contact with the original dash.
Good luck
Welcome to the MV addiction support group!! Bought mine sight-unseen as well from a dealer in Texas.
Think you'll like how the black will turn out.....It's your truck!! Make it your own!![thumbzup]
Thats the great thing about Helo's.... we can land just about anywhere. Getting above the weather.... Most of us dont like going above 2000ft. Most of our cross crountry flights ( Like from Norfolk to Las Vegas ) we cruise at 1000 and below, weather permitting.
Awesome pics!!! Good to see they...
Yep, I have the same problem with my outer tailgate WS. Glad you brought that up. At first...didnt think it mattered much. I did use the LMC driver/passenger door outer WS with no problems.
Thanks for the info brother!!
I had splatter like that when my fuel pump was leaking like crazy. As you said...no signs of leaks, might just be left-overs from a previous leak. Are you able to wash it off?
