Who knows....Would they get the "used and abused" buy back price?
I'd kinda like one, Way too much though.
I'll stick with what I have for now. I do see a 1008 or a 1028 in my future.
I pluged mine with the following.....
P/N's
Cap plug
CEC-18
MS90376-18RB
NAS831-18C
The cap plug website doesnt sell one or two sadly, perfect fit with some RTV applied keeps the rain out A-Ok
They are plastic ESD caps, it would be easy to drill a hole for an antenna wire.
Removed and replaced steering damper. Leaking like crazy.
P/N from the -20 4993563 crossed over to several replacement parts.....
Monroe SC2913 ( My local NAPA had it for 34 bucks )
Rockauto.com also had these P/N's listed: ACDelco 509606, KYB 10325 and many more.
I would be interested in hearing the story of how the carpet ended up in the truck.......
Some one with sensitive ears and or tushy...and a smart a@# mechanic I'm sure.
The metal floor. Most of my sheet metal is in good shape. I applied bed liner to the back section of the truck. Up front is gonna take some work.... I have two or three places that will have to be cut out and patched.
Not sure when I'm leaving the area...might be the end of February, might be June....Pencil me in for the event. And yes Dave, I'll join that convoy!!!! Tailend charlie!!
Most folks dont keep them or put them in...I could be wrong. Mine came with a full floormat kit installed, which I promtly removed.....unless you know for sure that the vehicle doesnt leak when it rains, It'll trap moisture and help the corrosion along. 2cents
Greetings fellow Texan!! Welcome to the OD green addiction support network!!
I hope to be moving back to Dallas soon.....Bought my current 1009 from a dealer in Dripping Springs, Tx
You can get most if not all common CUCV parts at NAPA or autozone. At the suggestion from a few members here, I have had pretty good luck with getting a part number out of the TM's and doin a google search. It usually lists commercial alternates.
Sure hope you are getting a good truck, basic...
Thats pretty much what happens with my truck Barrman. She'll cough and chug at first. It's just the other day it seemed not to work. It works now. I'll check it again in the morning. It's been down in the 30's here from time to time and so far the trucks systems have functioned as advertised...
