I keep my Arctic cover on year-round. In the Winter I close 1/2 the grill area, and she will hit 180* with a short run on the interstae. In the Summer months I open the cover up all the way and with that same highway run, I'll get a more respectable 200*. Without the cover, I would never hit...
Have you downloaded any of the TM's to assist you in troubleshooting? Folks on here have asked you a few questions in some of your other threads, but they remain unanswered. Per your previous threads, there has been a lot of issues with your vehicle that need to be sorted out. A little effort on...
As much sucess as I've had trading with George Kivett at White Owl, CNC ships them in a very sturdy box at no extra charge. Both vendors have very good customer service skills.
You may be further ahead by doing repairs, unless like you said, it's possibly replaceable with a Deuce rear harness. Repairs can be accomplished by replacing the bad wire segments, and using some in-line crimp connectors and heat-shrink tubing. I've had to replace a few bad spots and that is...
Seems I was real focused on vehicle type jamb switches...A couple of recessed steel door security switches would do the trick! I looked through my box of security switches (I used to be a system installer) and everything was normally open, the project needs the normally closed flavor. Thanks Chris!
Red Footwell LightDeuce Install
Took the red footwell light idea and ran with it. Thanks Rmgill! Had a couple of red clearance lights on the shelf, and replaced the wedge lamps with 24 volt units. Rattle canned the outside of the white plastic base with flat black. The shotgun side light was...
I don't think it's the brake switch if turn signals and brake lights both don't work. But you can remove the plug to the brake light switch and jump the terminals and check the switch to see if you get brake lights. Examine the connector to the turn signal switch closely, look for broken wires...
Get another Cat and don't feed him very much, he'll mouse out of necessity. I feed my Cat and he still brings me 3 or 4 "offerings" a week, best mouser I've ever had.
Good research David...some of the posts I read before responding indicated a 2 amp fuse would not hold on a perfectly good lift pump. I'll have to agree with you, that 5 amp may be a little too much, however every fuse I ever replaced on a Deuce lift pump had that pesky 5 amp, slow-blow fuse in...
$12 for a 5 small slow-blow glass fuse?? You should be able to buy a couple of 5 fuse boxes for that. Go to your local NAPA, they shouldn't be that much even at NAPA. I understand the correct size is 5 amp, slow-blow.
