Towerguy1 Checking out some crated engines

Pic of T1 on our trip to Lewiston Maine to see what Normand and Carlton had. Interesting stuff, some for sale occaisonally according to T1. They have about 16 5 Ton trucks and about 12 2 1/2 ton parts trucks inside a rather large building. The beds of the trucks were full of engines, T cases...

    Color change

After reading any new posts, the color of the little item in front of the section(example, Deuce or conversations) does not change from orange to blue. Is this something I need to address in my settings or is it on the other end? Not urgent, just curious. :D Edit: now they are gone after going...

    M35A3/M36A3 In cab heater

Went by a Guard Transportation Battalion today about 40 miles from home. Stopped in to check out the vehicles that were just back from Iraq. Lots of M915 and M915-A1's. Checked out a M35A3 and a M36A3. Like the heater mounted inside on the passenger side. Takes a little footroom but not much. I...

    New Post Color Change/Paper Clip

When I enter a new post sometimes the color does not change on the post indicator in front of the Forum section it was added to. How come? Also, what prompts a paper clip to appear in front of some topics?

    Brakes locked-in driveway!!

Air pack rebuild time. Damn, just lubed it not long ago. Presume the whole unit must come out. Does just pulling the end plate give access to what needs fixing even though it will be awkward working on it? Or just pull the whole thing and go through the brake fluid portion on the front of it...

    Oil Pressure on startup

On startup, how long does it take for your oil pressure to jump to operating range and do you get any hint of rod knock before it does? Also, what is a good range for these rigs to operate in between 500 and 1000 eng hours? I'm a little nervous about mine. A little slow getting to operating...

    Part # and special instructions?

One headlight from my Deuce says Wagner, 24 volt, 4863 for a number. Nobody around here can seem to find the # listed or cross reference it. Any help out there? Also, any special considerations when putting on an artic grill cover on a truck w/w? Thanks

    "2 1/2 Ton Ammo Loader"

I have seen these advertised for sale and seems as though it would be a nice device when loading heavy items when no tractor etc. available. It seems as though the membership of this Forum have tried about every item ever made for these rigs but I've never seen mention of an ammo loader. Any...

Can anybody point me in the right direction to find instructions or very close up pictures of how to install one? Looking to see where all the clips go etc. It's getting cooler up here in NH and 'bout time to install it. Thanks

    Air pack pipe plug

Would a little heat around the pipe plug to help in removal without stripping it hurt anything inside the air pack or should I stick to strictly mechanical means? Thanks
