The bore brush came out of a kit that had 30 or more in it, got it off the tool truck. I belive it was brass... possible it was stainless. And I don't see why a gun brush wouldn't work. It was the same type I just had a big kit at work for doing that sort of thing.
As far as the shims, I had...
The info has been much appreciated, as I'm getting rid of the M35 I'll be switching out of WMO altogether and going to WVO. The M923 has only ever had diesel and some WVO ran in it so hopefully no issues from that truck. I also need to disassemble my processing station to reseal it so a good...
Hey guys, I'm fixing to sell the M35 and I have a stockpile of cleaned WMO for it already. So I was wanting to clean the processing station thoroughly and repurpose it for waste peanut oil processing to go into my new M923. As I know it cannot handle the WMO. I was questioning the cleaning...
I've got a good supply of free waste peanut oil that I want to use in my new M923. I was wondering if anyone else was using the same and what is the proceedure they are using to clean it? I already am using WMO for my M35 and would love to be able to use the same station with just a bit of...
Guys I have a question, I'm flipping my hubs on my M35A2 to run A3 rims with 395's. My spare is a 395 on a A2 rim, will it clear the frame fine on the flipped hub or do I need to buy one more A3 rim? (dished side in)
I've got a hub flip and tire question..... I've got 395's on origanal rims now and in the process of changing them all to A3 rims and doing a hub flip.... The question, my spare is still a 395 on a stock rim. Will it clear on the back with the hub flipped??? Or do I need to go buy 1 more A3 rim...
Just got my first 2 A3 rims on my 395's and man what a workout. I had to dismount them first off of the origanal rims. I only had the loader for help, but was glad for it. What did you use to counter sink the lug nut holes for the rears????
Yeah I turned it down and installed a Pyro. I've finnaly gotten the tune like I want it, I can barely push it too far unloaded. So I have a little more confidence my safe running of the truck. Not all the time can I see the pyro, sunshine over the shoulder kind of makes it unreadable and I'm...

Sorry so long before reponce... Started a new job and now I have no Internet unless I go to someone else's house....
Just a little reasoning on why everyone bypasses their FDC
The FDC is not what makes this engine a multi-fuel, the diesign of the internals in the engine is
Bypassing it does not hinder multi-fuel operation, just means you have to hand tune the pump to where you want it after the inital...
Update.... Fuel mileage has increased not sure how much but definetly better than the 3mpg estimated before the fix. During my previous drive I forgot to record miles, but I drove for 1.5-2 hrs total round trip and only burned about a 1/4 tank or a litttle less! Yes I know the guage can lie but...
Just one side or both???
I had a wire intermittenly shorting where it rubbed a piece of steel that would give the same symptom when shorted only on one side.
Don't exceed 25% gas though, your o'rings can't handle it unless you've replaced them with viton??? Not sure on the spelling, check the alt fuels section for more on that. Beyond Biodiesil did a well writen study on the o-rings.
Very true man. I also jumped in with both feet, bought mine from a car dealer that took it in on trade with no history on it, and I've been working on it fairly steadliy for a year repairing things to get it to what I would consider reliable. I've been driving it around town and to work on and...
Return to center is caused by caster angle, i.e. leaning the knukle rearward
The twichyness and wander that your describing is directly caused by caster angle and easily fixed. There are 2 methods to fix it
1 Just flip the spring pearches(where the spring attaches to the axle) 180*
Or
