Man my centrafuge could make short work of that. When you pump it off the middle let it set for a few days more water and the metals that are suspended should settle to the bottom. Metals in soulition will not. You would have to filter them or sling them out. If you had a old hot water heater...
I've never had good luck with alternators. They usally only last me about 18months. I had rebuilt here at a leece neville shop. It cost me about $150 also. I'm thinking of tring a 100amp and see if i get better service.
i googled herc and found engine dealers who carried parts. the had pic of multi's. It's been a while but i bet they still are around. Have you tried boyce, or memphis?
Most 6.2's have a fuel warmer just before the IP. You could mix it with regular diesel As long as you burt the whole tank and refueled with diesel with out shutting the engine off. Once it cools then you got pluged lines.

I ran off and forgot the camara! I'm sopposed to get other pics emailed to me. I'll post those when i get them. Oh and lost? Mabye. But there's nothing more fun than tearin up the streets in a M113.
I have a mil surplus centrafuge that i got from a GSA auction. I can do a gallon in about 2 minutes. I usally run no more than 30% oil. So i really don't have to spend much time slinging oil. It can turn black oil to a light amber color easily. I found it's takes less time to turn amber if i...
No i haven't sent any samples in. I guess i put it on the back burner and forgot. I'm planning in sending oil before and after running it through the centrafuge. To see just how much it removes. The ships i work on use WMO for fuel. The tech term is heavy fuel oil. Yes i do believe WMO polutes...
