    Friend's truck: conversion from turbo 400/NP208 too a 700r4/NP205

Advance Adapter makes a couple of different sleeves, not sure if they make a 27 too 10 though, I have seen a 32 too 10. I thought about putting twin sticks on the T-case but spending that much money only to have too cut them so they will go up through the floor due too the spacer, I don't...

Here are the pics of 700r4 and NP205 along with the spacer that is necessary for the transfer case to be installed on a 700r4. 4 reason's for using spacer instead of advance adapters new output shaft: first this is a lot cheaper, 2nd I don't have too tear the trans completely down to install...

    Another Transmission swap question

the NP208 from a turbo 400 is identical to a NP208 from a turbo 350 except the input shaft is a 27spline for the turbo 350 and 700r4 instead of a 32 spline for the turbo 400.

    Another Transmission swap question

Yes the linkage for the np208-turbo 400 will work with the np208-700r4 combo, the 700r4 is actually shorter than the turbo 400 but the adapter and np208 from a turbo 350 will make up the difference, won't have to move the cross-member nor change the shifter for the np208 and will be able too use...

    Another Transmission swap question

Will have too completely disassemble the 700r4 and install a 4x4 out put shaft. an NP208 from a turbo 350 will bolt right up to the 700r4 and will be able to use your current drive shafts, or an NP241 from a k-5 blazer 1989-91 will also work just the same, the NP241 is a little beefer than the...

    Looking 4 gears

I just installed a 700r4, now I can go 70mph at 2500 rpms instead of the 2800 rpms I was at when going 55mph, rpms are 1900 at 55 now. Plus my first gear is a lot lower than the turbo 400, can do wheel burnouts now. Might not be as heavy duty as the 400 but a lot cheaper than changing gears...

    M1009 with 2.5-4 inch lift???

for the best ride skyacker is the best, but will cost a lot more than any other lift kit. Never use blocks up front (unless there zero rates like burbn10 said) when going around curves the blocks can topple over in either direction causing the u-bolts to break and separate the axle from the...
