If you ever come to Kansas, look me up. There is a lot of little known history around the area of the Fort and I would be glad to run you around and show it to you. I enjoy driving through the Fort enough to give you a ride through that place. I suppose that all those five tons will eventually...

    Early vs late NDT tires

I have some 900s that are not round in the center of the tread, they have three flat sides in the center radius of the tread. I cannot remember if they are Armstrongs, Denmans, or some other old tire. The T-Hawks are much rounder in tread profile and in the center radius of the tire, if that is...

    Epic m925 adventure

I went out today and removed the plastic wedge that has been holding the driver's window up and removed the inner door panel. One of the clips was off of the lower arm, it has been broken. The arm was still in the guide though. I shoved the window back up and removed the regulator. t looks brand...

Yes, Fort Riley is an active military installation. The base is quite large, occupying an area of about 100,650 acres, primarily in Geary and Riley Counties. It was built initially at the western edge of civilization in 1853 to protect commerce and travel on the Oregon and Santa Fe Trails. It is...

    Purging fuel system on multifuel

There is also the little lever behind the two screw cover on the IP. Make sure it is moving freely. I would pull the plug above the secondaries and turn the tank pump on or open a secondary filter bleeder with the pump on to make sure fuel is getting by the primary. In your part of the world...

Best Rear Spring Option for Bobbed Deuce

Can we not remove some of the spring stack on a five ton pack and get a softer spring rate? We used to do that a lot on one ton and 3/4 ton pickups that guys were using for light duty and tires of getting beat to death.

    Epic m925 adventure

I know a guy with some 1100 chains, brand new ones! I was going to cut them down for my deuce. Maybe I better send them along!

You could sell it locally! 8) It has been nice having one around town, even if only about 50 people ever get to see it. Sure is a nice looking deuce you are dragging around! You might get better mileage if you left it here, the deuce, of course. I was just there this morning and again this...

    M105: What to look for?

A lot of of times you need a lever to get enough pressure to release the stand, I doubt a child even climbing the gear and using the handle for a step would release it. I have bows, sideboards soon, no covers though... at least covers that do not need repaired.

    a visit from the Cops. . .

We have DOT certified truck inspectors in Kansas, most street officer do not have a clue what you need.... GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) is 26,000 for mandatory CDL. Deuces get by because they are under the 26,000 GVWR and have air assisted hydraulic brakes. The 915 would require a CDL as...
