Clint, that seal should work. According to my book . The difference is the seal width. The metal outside seal casing is 5/16 wide and the 43 is 3/8 wide. They both have a double lip and are suted for oil and grease.
I replaced my box with spring seats on both sides of the truck. Wifey likes it better than the pass side bench also. I used to keep my impact and jacks in the box seat but now i have to cram everything in the tool box under the cab. If your spring seat is bouncing like mad then mabye the shock...

Some injectors have one hole and onthers have two holes. But they fit any engine. All engines are under the M.A.N.N. license and use interchangable parts. Any ld can be swapped to a T or a S by swapping the oilpan around and relocating the dipstick. You'll need to get the right oil pickup tubes...

If anybody needs the bracket that goes on the dash that pulls the mounts tward the pass side. I have one it's NOS and free just pay shipping. I mount mine by the doors and don't need it.
Glad you made it home. Can't wait for the pics. This summer you'll be looking for ways to cool the cab off. And wondering where all that heat was last winter.
There is a "beam" where most of the rear springs go on the wreckers. There is however a couple of springs with this beam. So there is some suspension movement. But not much. Are you sure the wheel base is the same for both? My M52 looks shorter than a wrecker at the museum. Mabye the bed makes...
