Are you using the small L-shaped brace that bolts to the block at the front of the starter? If not the starter will twist and snap bolts. And sometimes the block.

The truck isn't mine. I borrowed it to go get my trailor. At the time i didn't think my truck would make the trip. I had a alternator going bad. The 900 is in great shape. It only has 3800 miles on it. It has the 8.3 comealong in it. It pulled that trailor 62 MPH all the way back from san antiono.

And it's alot of fun driving in houston's traffic!

I personally looked at that truck last month while picking up a spare Multifuel engine. It's missing quite a few parts. And just about all the tools are gone too.

I've seen a few LDS's with a blockoff plate where the FDC goes. I didn't by a M52 because it was set up this way. Insead i found one that was. The tag on the pass side didn't have multi on them eather. The tags just stated "diesel". I wondered if mabye the pistons didn't have the dish?

I need new plates for my M127 trailor. Do you have those avalable?

Chris, We have two at the meseum. I used one to pull my M127 with my dolly from San Antiono to Houston. It pulled it 62MPH and got 7.5 MPG. It's really quiet for a M series. You'll love it. Great find!
