If I remember correctly that goes down to the outlet fitting on the fuel pump and supplies fuel to the intake flame heater.

I rented a tilt deck to pick up my 2 generators. Worked real well. Easy for GL to load with their forklift and with the deck tilted it was easy to slide the sets out. Once on the ground they are easy to drag around with my vehicle.

I really went simple on the front. used zip ties to fasten the plate to the horizontal bars on the guard. Doesn't block anything and out of harms way.

Looks like the short leg of the clip broke off and let it back out of the fork arm.

It is a clip that holds the throwout bearing to the fork assembly. #18 in the diagram.

Always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Glad to hear all went well and sounds like you got a keeper. [thumbzup]

I found a slight application of heat and several love taps with a small ball peen hammer on the nut flats most of the time would allow the nut to break loose.

Very nice score indeed. I never gave it a thought about the Votech schools rotating equipment through and selling off the used / surplus.
