I just painted the tailgate which is the last piece of of my deuce, still got some little stuff left ( air filter housing) but I can now take down the **** spray booth...poor thing

This is the distribution tube ( ORD part # 7351075 )
It slides into the block via the discharge side of the cooling port ( where the waterpump bolts up to ) and it prevents hotspots by distributing the water/coolant more evenly. When you mentioned hotspots this was the first thing that popped...
Flushing and then back flushing the block through the water pump openings with a garden hose should remove quite a bite of the (loose) scale.

No I did not know about that until AFTER I got the gal of paint but I'm keeping it in mind if I need another gal being I'm already 2gals over the max of what I'd thought it would take to paint this thing
I just ordered another gal of WWII semi from Rapco cost me almost $70 Sheesh! Much cheaper per gal to order 4 gal case at a time ( just opened my 7th gal can )

Troop seats, side racks and front rims are done, put chain on winch and bought foam to repad the pass seat today., Oh yeah and new front shocks. Got to bring 5 bad tires to local shop to get rims broken down from there I can finish painting the rest of rims
