    why is my truck faster than the others??

    Is there any black smoke? If so mabye the fuel rate is set at the higher setting. I turned mine up a few years ago and it screams. I haven't found another duece that can touch it. I'd be careful running it at that rpm for too long, You might end up with a piston in your lap!!!

    We installed one on Drat's truck. And it will push his trans shelter with no problem. The bumper is thick enough by it's self. Witch trailor did you get? Anything less than a 105 uses a smaller pindle.

    I'd be worried about the pinion shaft bearings. They would be turning incredible speeds at 70mph. I've changed many of these in our fire trucks.     A gut named spicergear did it. It looked fast! But i'm with djfreema. Turn up the fuel rate, install some 11.00-20's and burn up the highway.

    Changing the t-case was one of the easier jobs i've done. About 4 hours. But changing those little coolant hoses that go from the top of the heads to the intake will want you to shoot someone!!!!

    My guess is the oil filters. If the filters were on the shelf for a long time, they will loose some media. Mabye stopping up a oil galley.     It's powered by a cat c10 and has a 7speed allison tranny. It will fly! it's the smoothest mil truck i've ever driven. And really quiet. It's almost car like.

    What tools to bring to DRMO to check fluids before removal?

    A 1/2 inch drive ratchet fits all the fill plugs on the tranny, t-case, and axles. Unless it's broke or leaking badly don't mess with the oil line to the turbo.     M35A2 fluid capacity and head gaskets..... need info please!

    The axles hold 5qt's, the t-case holds 4 1/2 qt's, and the tranny hold 4 1/2 without a pto. If you have a pto, 5qts. They ain't cheep, but memphis equipment has your gaskets.
