I have to agree with these gentlemen about using a pressure bleeder. I have tried to use a vacuum bleeder on several different vehicles and have never been happy with the results. I got a pressure bleeder when I did the brakes on my deuce and man does it make life easy. 2cents
The only reason I can think the cylinder would crack over the winter would be if a water bubble was in the cylinder around that area and the temps got low enough for it to freeze and expand. On the other hand I would think the brake fluid would push back into the MC as the bubble expanded and...
Bjorn, on my set pins 8 - 12 measure 0.2 ohms and pins 2 - 5 measure 0.3 ohms. measuring any other combination of these 4 pins read open. Sounds like you have a short in the to windings. I did take my readings at the plug that connects to the back of the control cube. Hope it helps.
Hello Bjorn. If it would help I could check the ohm readings on my set. I assume :roll: these measurements are taken at the Large connector on the cable that connects the control cube to the generator head.
Here is the transmission kit the Tom mentioned. It will give you a better highway cruising speed but not take away the low ratio for off road crawling like a regear of the differentials would, and a lot cheaper.

Where is the thermocouple mounted. Before or after the turbo. I can't see that much boost and smoke and that low of a EGT. I will admit I don't know much about water injection though. Maybe that explains the low EGT ?
