My truck came with the non-skid on the entire horizontal surface of the front fenders and on the entire top edge of the front bumper. I really like it especially when its wet and I am climbing around to check the oil etc. Mine just looks like sand mixed in when it was painted.
I run Amsoil in my dd and my F250. I did notice about a 10 degree drop in my transmission temp when pulling my trailer with the F250 after changing the transmission, transfer case and differential oils. I also use "AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 50 Powershift Transmission...
From the pics I would say you are good to go. I took it from your first post that there was, more or less, a flat washer in the can. I think you will find that the cork gasket is protruding slightly above the metal band that hols it in place to the filter body. Also the cup that the filter sits...
FWIW I would think you would want the inverted cup to seal the bottom of the filter. The second and final filter have a 10 micron rating or less and without a good seal there is the possibility of rather large particles bypassing the filter and passing to the ip head. Your mileage may very.

Battery--->circuit breaker--->pressure switch--->switch--->Aurora
When you shut down the engine the pressure switch opens...
I wouldn't think you really need a relay for these. At 110 watts they only draw about 5 amps each on high. Although if you have a pair with both ranges on at the same time you are near 20 amps so a relay would be a good idea.
