I got the pull drain valves at my local auto parts store ( Bumper to Bumper) for about $6.00ea, NAPA carries them also. My tanks were so far gone I had to replace them (My 35 came from Michigan)

I painted my 37 engine with gillespie ( & synthetic hardner) and the only peeling I had was on the intake manifold where it bolts up to the exhaust manifold and I also noticed a little color fade on the stat housing
The three holes are for the little rubber bumpers that the kit rests against ( they're the same as the M-151 hood rest bumpers )
The strap is suppose to be held with footman loops but I cheated and just riveted my strap to the side of the seat riser
