Congratulation on the new acquisition. MV's can change that in a hurry

    Deuce as daily driver?

I've only done about 3~400 miles in the year I have had it. I wouldn't think you would need to change the filters that often. I changed the fuel filters as soon as I got my deuce and then again after the first tank of fuel was used. A lot will depend on how much gunk is in the system. I got...

    m35a2 throwout bearing

That's right. that fitting lubes the bearing on the input bearing cover, not the throwout bearing it's self. Sorry about that.

    Deuce as daily driver?

This is how I use mine. Weekend short trips to the store and just cruising around town. The top priority is to keep on top of routine maintenance, filters, clean fuel, clean and repack hub bearings and check the brakes and then check the brakes again. Did I mention to check the brakes.

Saw an air braked M35a2 yesterday

One plus is that it take about 5 minutes to replace the pancake and your back up compared to replacing a wheel cylinder.

Saw an air braked M35a2 yesterday

I would say it depends on the manufacture design. We had Mack DM600 that were off road dump haul trucks and the brake cans where mounted high on the backing plate facing in to the center and had very little trouble and damage problems. We also had a few Autocars and GMC generals that we where...

    rear axle nut question

I'm in the middle of doing the brakes and repacking the bearings. I have been using method in the TM that has you torque the nut to 50 lb/ft then back off 1/8 ~ 1/4 turn. We'll see how it turns out. Must have had 2 different mechanics working on it the last time it was serviced. Left side had...
