I tested my RT-524 yesterday on 52.25Mhz with the owner of my local NAPA store who has a radio in his Jeep. We didnt have time to set up a long distance test so he was on one side of the building and I was only about 200 feet away on the other side of the building in a downtown location. Just...
Hey Jimmy, I just found it in TM-9-2320-361-34, page 15-6. It says to tighten them to a spring height of 6.375 inches, no torque. For the other bolts, tighten to 125-165 lb-ft. Good to go now :D

yellobronc, my first time in there also. Not bad. Wheels are heavy but just get set up and go methodically. Hub and drum is heavy, I just stood over it and got good grip on both sides and went slowly so as not to ding threads. Didn't remove shoes, just forced them wide open and held them with...
Look at OD Iron's picture. Casting #3087. Just replaced one on my Deuce. Got a GI one from a friend. Priced at NAPA about 50 bucks or something like that. OD Iron is a good price from what I can find.

How do you do it?
I would assume that everyone that has changed a Deuce tire does not have a 3/4 inch drive torque wrench to retighten with so what do you do? Just tighten the bejeezus out of them, run it a while, and then tighten the bejeezus out of them again? Or do you figure how long a...
Speaking of rear seals, I have two sets for rear wheels dated from 1996-2000. Do you consider these too "old" to use. Still in original packaging and seem quite pliable. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
BC
Thanks gimpy,
I have now tried the search on the left and had much better success :D The morning after I got my bed put on the inner rear rim of the pass side tandem was covered with brake fluid so I figured I must have blown out a wheel cylinder. Pulled it apart today and no sign of brake...
I know that there are good pictorials of doing rear wheel bearings and rear brakes but when I search for them I come up with subjects such as corgo cover options and other crap! I've got pics from the TM etc, but know there are some really good posts with tips and tricks I want to find. I don't...
Filter
Finally got the filter installed and all plumbed in. Pressurized system, shut off truck, drained the three tanks with their own drain and then checked to see if the single tank was still holding pressure. It was, check valve works again. Forgot to get good pic of filter before installing...
Could it have anything to do with running them at very low pressure in very cold weather to help with traction in certain conditions. They might not be very pliable and would not seal properly so the tube would keep them inflated?
Armada, thanks. Yes, I've seen pics of OPCOM's setup, but I'm not thrilled about having it in the front what with having the winch and all the activity associated with it plus the cabling for it running out to it. I have a standoff for a sugar scoop that would allow me to put it just inside the...
