Hey Jeremy! That looks like it has a double chin! How bad was the tread puffed up? I have seen a lot of tire sidewall bubbles, but nothing like those folks had. I am looking forward to that shake myself! Glen
You guys went and did it now. I slammed the door on my deuce and now I have an enormous headache, you guys got my head so puffed up, it will no longer fit in the cab.
Seriously though, I appreciate the kind words. I have been hosed a few times in life, but I also have been blessed with...
It is home in Nebraska now. The bolt was a minor repair, but it could have created a horrible disaster and an ugly smear on the hobby. I am not one to get ugly about another man's work, but they made a lot of foolish mistakes. A great start, the new owners need to carefully scrutinize anything...
I did not check the transfer case vent, that is a load of oil to be losing though. I thought they vented into a tube that also had the transmission and brake vents that run up to the firewall. A couple of photos while my back yard was blessed with company. Glen
They grabbed a pair of oil filters, some fuel, a primary filter, filled up the transfer case and rear differential and made tracks north out of Salina. They should be getting close to home by now and no phone calls.... hope all is well.... Nice to meet you guys, that is one tough looking truck...
 A dually has been on my  list for quite some time. I keep telling myself I do not need one, but it does not help me much. Glen
The bolt is too short for that, I guess you could drill the nut and bolt, then run a wire through it. They are about 40 miles away from me now, when they get here, we will lock-tite it and fill the leaky transfer case and rear differential. I have access to a good welding shop, if the mounts...
I can pick up a tow bar from Jeff and tow them with my deuce, but what has stopped them is a rear suspension failure, letting the rear axle float around. I am looking for somebody local with a trailer, I think my buddy in the crane business has a large 3 axle that he would loan me, now if it is...
The Bobber is broke down on I70 in Topeka. Lost a pivot bolt out of the four link. Not sure if any of our members in that area are watching this thread, but they are trying to do a roadside repair now..... guess it did a little fishtail dance as the rear axle went out of alignment, the good news...
It is broke down in Topeka, one of the rear suspension arms spat out a bolt. If you are not aware, the truck rides on air bags in the rear. They are doing roadside surgery. Glen
It has been sold and is currently westbound on I70 somewhere around Topeka, Ks.. On its way to Grand Island Nebraska. I am on standby, in the event it has a mechanical failure of some sort. They left Warrenton Missouri in it early this morning. Glen
I am a big man too, but I did not have any trouble with the deuce seat. If I flip the adjuster block around so the rear of the seat is low, the front of the seat is on the upper hook and the seat back is slid all the way up, I get along good. I have not measured my legs for a long time, but when...
If you guys want to take a nap here, or spend the night, we can do that. Not the fanciest hotel around, but the price is right. You are almost back in Kansas... the long state on your journey... Glen

I think he said he had 250 395s the last time I talked to him. Glen
They rolled out of the Flying J here in Salina a few minutes ago. This stop gave them a host of things that could be handy and a guy who knows his way around deuces. They were really fortunate that Jesse had a free weekend and decided to roll along. I hope we do not need it, but I fueled the...
