The deuce would have to be really careful what 18 wheeler it was going to run with. Most of the modern stuff will pull a load heavier than the deuce's GVW and run faster than the deuce is capable of running. Additionally, the 18 wheeler will be much safer, at least it has a braking system...
I was just there yesterday. Looks like you got a nice deuce for the money. I never did preview that truck but we did bid against you for a while. If you decide you need or want out, let me know. If I can be of any assistance on your recovery, let me know. If we need to, we can tow it to Salina...
Nice looking truck, I did not know there was a backwards way to put a top on, until I was stretching mine out from the inside and saw "REAR" stamped inside the top. 8-) Live and learn!
I bought another M105 on the auction that closed on the 17th. The EUC came back today, so I called and made a last minute appointment. Smoked over in the deuce, signed in, got hooked up, pulled out into the parking lot and signed out in 12 minutes. I then checked the bearings and lugs, tied down...
You know, I sold all of my M715s a few years ago and I still want one whenever I see one or a variant. I guess some attractions just never go away. Looks like a great find..... Glen
It should be below the fill hole, as long as I can reach it with my index finger, life is good. If you fill it up to the fill hole, you will have oil running out the nose of the transmission into the bell housing, creating a heck of a mess..... They do not have a front seal, so over filling is a...
The switch marked service lights to the left of the steering column on the lower face of the dash needs to be in the on position. If it is not, you will have no lights, brake lights, nothing. Glen
I think the seller should be honest in the description, especially if he/she knows the contact is long distance. We are in a different world than out fathers and grandfathers. The Internet has made finding what was the impossible very easy to find, tremendous businesses have been generated, by...
It came to my place to refill the obviously leaking gear boxes. I sent a lot of equipment and supplies along with the buyers on their trip, to make life easier if the common break downs occurred, belts, filters... that type of thing.
I was not involved in the sale or purchase and was not there...
How about one that you know has water in the gear boxes? No windshield wipers? No turn signals? No horn? Steel brake line repaired or extended with copper tubing? Regular nuts on a four link system, no lock nuts, keyed bolts, thread locker, wired nuts? Some major gear box leaks..... knowing the...
That looks like some wildman from deep in the woods of Kentucky behind the wheel. Look out Kansas...here he comes. That must be entering Kansas City from the Missouri side....
I had a lot of muscle cars, but the one I miss the most was a 1965 Malibu with an aluminum head 469 I built in it. The car was rust free and in pretty good shape. I never did the body, it was just a nice driver. 468-400-4.11:1 in a light coupe, sure was fun.... I had Corvettes, Trans Ams, Z/28s...
