I think he means the bolts and lock nuts, especially new lock nuts. They are really bad about working loose on their own after the first or second time being run on. Glen
I am so thankful that my deuce got me home. I took my M1008 up to Rapid City and it puked on me on the way up. I drove it a few hundred miles that I should not have and we got the deuce running. We had a couple of minor issues coming home, but the deuce quickly took over the role as recovery...

You probably want a five ton then. The deuce is a fine machine, but hydraulic cranes I would think, better suited to a five ton chassis. Glen

Changed the oil and filter on the M1009, changed the fuel filter, replaced the speedometer cable, replaced the glow plugs and one of the lead screw on battery posts referred to above. It kept coming loose and finally would not tighten. I apparently stripped the threads someplace along the line...
