Mine has the "L" and metal line. I can take the line loose and remove the mc top from the access door but it is tight. All you need to do is remove the line and "L" to install the bleeder adapter in the mc cap. I wouldn't think that the vent cap would work for the mc. I thought they where meant...

I got an estimate from OKC Auction Services LLC on a pallet once. They would pick up from the site and I could pickup at depot. I don't remember the quote but I remember it seemed like a reasonable cost.
The transfer case in the deuce is synchronized, unlike most tc's. You can use it as an auxiliary transmission. Now if I can come up with a decent mod to install a regular shift lever this would be a perfect setup.
