I believe I would start here. Good eyes. I might try de soldering the R1 and then cleaning the terminals up. Then re-solder and give it a try. The funky terminals may be making contact to the control panel door.
Go through the T/S steps. Tell us what you find. That way we know in what direction you need to start looking at. And yes, the fact that S10 will not roll the motor over is a big fat red flag.
