Interesting, makes me wonder how it would do behind the P400 6.5s, unfortunately they're really rare, but I'm still a huge fan of the 6.5s because of how simple they are compared to the duramax and the size compared to the cummins.
I know dead thread, but wouldn't a 6L80e or 6L90e be the best overall modification for better MPG? Overall, you get better ratios and have a .67 overdrive. Even though the 4l80e is a good upgrade from the 3 speed, it still burns a lot of fuel at 65-70 big time and the engine still be screaming...

RIP, living the humvee life of replacing all of the random parts that's breaking from almost 2 decades of neglect. Don't worry, it's going to grow on you till you be done replaced every boot, gasket, and seal then you'll have a 100% reliable vehicle
This guy done his own door, and the end result in his other video looks pretty good. I'm considering doing this for my rear to half an actual half door instead of just a cover. I'll probably consider making a thick plate for my x doors for the added protection, I'm not a fan of the thin...
