Someone on here had done an electric fan swap and use the crown vic fans and was happy with it, I think his fan system was pulling 5,000 CFM, take note, that is 2x less than the hydrualic setup.
Is there any MV trailer for the humvee that has 10 - 12 feet in length of cargo space? From what I seen, the original most used trailer for the humvee has a cargo space a little under 8ft in length, I would like to find something that's slightly longer
I changed out the heater box in my M1123 and for whatever reason, I cannot get the black diverter box to fix back on for the life of me. I'm almost sure this heater box I have goes to a M998 possibly, I want to ask have anyone ever converted the diverter box to the newer style? If so, how did...
That's my problem most likely, I try to turn it on with the switch only in run, not when the truck was running, I'll get my radiator back connected and try that
I decided to try and get my heater working because it sucks not having defrosters in the morning. I've changed the blower motor box and it's still not working. I'm thinking about wiring the blower motor directly to a toggle switch and relay. Would there be any negative effect in going this route?
Pump off and got the bolt off, is there any specific sealant the bolts calls for? I can't find anything in the TMs on water pump replacement
Also, the plate to the engine, is loctite 515 the correct gasket maker to use? Just making sure before I bolt it back together
Damn, that's exactly what scares me the most, going to end up trying to get it off with a reverse bit, if that doesn't work then off the water pump goes again
May end up trying this, I always had bad luck with reverse bits and ez outs with anything torqued down, I may just see if there be any leak, if not, I'll let it be for now because I used a ton of teflon tape on it.
I used the old bolt, I was setting it to 20ft Ibs of torque and it broke soon when my wrench clicked. I put a lot of teflon tape before I threaded it in. As much as I want to get it out, I would hate to remove the entire water pump back off to take off that broken bolt
I know I'm going to get eating up for this one, but I ended up breaking one of the bolt heads, do I actually have to go and take this bolt off to avoid any leaks? This is one of the two bolts on the bottom. I know the water pump is completely sealed off from every other bolt torqued down...
My last cadillac valve done this same exact thing, about 2 weeks later, either it gave out or something else, that cause the fan to turn 100%. I decided to do away with that whole crappy system and go to the viscious fan clutch setup, can't wait to see how it does. No more failing TDMs, Cadillac...
Does anyone have a part list of what can be done to make our 6.5s the closes to a P400? I know about the forged crankshaft but not sure on everything else
