I have a pair of Schneider XWPRO6848 inverters. They can provide around 14kw continuously and 1.5x that for 30 min. They can take utility power OR generator power and charge batteries. They can also supplement the generator power when you need more than it can provide. You can bring in other...
I'm half-n-half. All the high power appliances are on grid. Lights, fridge, TV, and internet are off grid.
With the new heatpump doing as well as it is, I'm planning to move it over to the inverter in the spring.
Ug, all bets are off then. You need to start from square one. The first thing I would do is pull the valve cover and check your valve action and timing.
In anticipation of the upcoming snow/sleet/ice event predicted for central NC on Friday, I decided to give the MEP1030s a test run. I wanted to see how the new heatpump worked while on generator power. Had no problems with the heatpump. One thing that did surprise me is when the heatpump comes...
I don’t think converting it to an inverter style generator is practical. You can add an external hybrid inverter into the mix to give you more flexibility and fuel efficiency.
Since I put in my system which has Solar with battery storage, I run the generator far less for outages than I used to.
It is possible that the float is binding or the sensor on the float is bad/dirty. The stalk can be turned in its mount so it could be a simple problem of it not being oriented correctly in the tank.
The low fuel float is on a separate stalk. The same comment does apply in regards to...
Nothing really "holds" them together. They are precision machined and don't even have any rubber seals inside. Makes sense since rubber would not survive the pressures.
You unscrew the top of the pump and the rest of the guts will come out (assuming its not gummed up). They are super simple...
For the last auction in mid December where I picked up a couple of items, they charged me the 15% premium. Was very noticeable on the MEP803.
Its not likely that I'll be back to buy anything.
To add to what was said above, Do NOT run it again until you do some looking around inside the unit. You will need to remove the top covers to gain access to the places where the main wiring goes.
Also, since the term DEAD SHORT is a new one to you, I strongly suggest you "phone-a-friend" that...
They aren't hard to bleed. Make sure you have good fuel going to the pump, loosen the hard line on the injector, turn it over until you get fuel weeping from the fitting, tighten and start it up. It will cough a bit and clear up in a minute or less.
I hold the compression release down when...
I can tell ya from first hand experience if there is any air getting into the high pressure pump, even a little, it will spit and sputter and overall be a very unhappy little camper. I just went through that problem with the HDT that I'm working on. It sounded like the timing was WAY off and I...
OK. Modification isn't the best way to go then. Just use 2 of the 3 phases when you are running single/split phase loads and understand your output will be limited to around 10kw.
