I'll have to check, they're not that thick, but I don't think spacers would work since the studs are short. The tie rods are barely rubbing but it's rubbing enough to eat the wheel if you move the truck.
Yea you're right, I try to turn it around and realize that won't work. The ones I have is fine in the rear right? I don't see it rubbing against anything
They'll still rub with the wheels being turn around or would it just limit my turning radius? I really would hate to ditch these aluminum wheels on the side for the steel ones.
I think I've figured it out, these are all dually MRAP wheels, does anyone know if I can just turn the front wheels around and run them or would I have to get another set of 2 wheels for the front?
Yep, I'm lost, I've research for the pass 2 hours and haven't seen anyone else have this issue. After looking at the truck from up front, the tires does look a bit more sucked in than they should be, maybe these ain't the right wheels for the front? I'm clueless
Looks like the exact same setup I have, I have no clue why my wheels is scrapping on the front. Do you have anything spacing the front wheels out besides the adapter?
I'm installing the 20 inch MRAP hutchinson wheels with the adapter plate, but both of the front wheels are rubbing, I have my adapter plate dish inside of the wheel, can someone please tell me what Im doing wrong. I've seen a ton of people use these wheels, check out the pictures.
It seemed like the fan was a lot quiet than what it was, but my idiotic self forgot that I had sealed off the doors with weatherstripping last week which is why it sound much quiet in the cab
I finally got to actually putting these on the truck but Im kind of stuck, how do we air the rear tires up? the valve stem is so close to the hub that I can't get my pump fitting to go on it, is it only able to be aired up with the wheel off the truck? Also, do we use the stud with the square...
Is it normal for the fan to partially engage? I notice with this new cadillac valve, my fan partially engages around 225-230 and shuts off at around 190. My other cadillac valve had always fully engaged the fan, This was with my old radiator though, the temp usually would never drop and stayed...
I got the parking brake fixed up, it holds on a incline easily. I almost got everything perfectly functional besides a oil leak somewhere around the filter, I thought it was the housing under the filters but I was wrong, Im starting to think its the whole housing leaking.
Off topic, I turned...
I'm getting to change the cable, I just need to adjust it and put on the top spring on the upper shoe. Has anyone ever dummy proof the parking brake? As in dummy proof, I mean some indicator as to whether or not its applied. Its extremely easy to forget since the brake handle is literally hidden...
I get that on the newer Duramax since their thermostat open up at around 210-220 degrees, the thermostat on the 6.5s open up at 195 and still climb all the way up to 220 degrees, even with normal driving in fairly cool weather. I've heard quite a lot of chevy truck users with the 6.5 say it runs...
