under kick panel is the solenoid for the engine cooling fan and the solenoid for the "in between" rear axle locker if you have the 6x6.

Bingo you are correct (sorta) - these trucks were geared correctly..... for their military task...... which is NOT correct for our commercial or camper task as your examples show very well.

phew... that be tuff to put two spares and motorcycle. Weight wise. Is your rig close enough in your build to weigh it with any accuracy to use for caluclating a viable estimate of what each axle's weight will be if you had it loaded pre tires and bike? You'll need that to decide how much...

barksdale seems to make several types. You might contact a place like below and send them a pic of yours... maybe length of arm?? They may can look it up by #'s above too? Keep us posted on what you find out.

Something in my head is saying there is something else too. Did you ask power packer for a superseeded number?
Part of problem with pulling cab up with something is the cab is tinfoil-ish and something that wraps up and over may deform the cab.. might only be enough deformation to pop out the windishield.... but that is enough.
Well..... least your keeping up with the best medicine. Humor aka- laughter is the best medicine. Granted that blanket statement fails to express that there is times laughing inside may be better way. Laughing out Loud .... Hurts sometimes.
