The oil pressure gauge out of a 800 series 5 ton works. They are 0-120 psi. The military gauge hooked right into the civilian copper tube that was already installed and worked perfectly.

Won't the piston out of the 5 ton airpac interchange with the G749 airpac so that we can use the 5 ton rebuild kit?

There are two bolt looking heads that protrude out of the back side of the backing plate that are for brake adjustment. Turn those toward the rear of the truck and see if that will back the brakes off and free things up.

The part number for the rear main seal is FPG BS5974 at NAPA. I need to change mine out as well in the near future. Our trucks look almost like the very same one with the color.
