    900 series combat rims

I have seen them lately for $200-250 a piece. I have seen them on eBay with a tire for $350. I would almost give a kidney if I can find 3 more.

I'm back in the CUCV club!

Re: cucv Well, if they want to know that bad, then more power to 'em. I just don't like to seem like a braggart.

I'm back in the CUCV club!

RE: congrats on the great win! Thanks guys. While I prefer not to bid and tell, I will tell you that it was very inexpensive compared to the 1008 prices I have been seeing for the last couple of years. There were a bunch that went off at the same time. That always helps to depress prices...

I'm back in the CUCV club!

He guys, I haven't had a CUCV for about 3 years now and have been missing it. Since my wife has a car and I drive a SUV, getting a truck was only natural. I am always needing to haul some truck parts, wood, mulch, trash, etc... and I hate junking up the Excursion or hooking up the trailer...

I ran 60 PSI all around on the 923A2. That was with 14.00R20 XL's.

    900 series combat rims

Cool. I used a good amount of Dawn in some water to make some tire lube to slide everything together easier. It also works to check for air leaks around the valve stem and clamp rings. Tire lube works great too. Lube up the o-rings to keep them from binding and to help them seal. The...

Need NHC-250 in a can hauled from PA to NC

RE: new pics Andy, that's a heck of a load for a dually! Did you run it across the scales? Glad you made it safe. I have a 5-ton rated trailer with electric brakes to pull it home behind my diesel Excursion if I have to. Walter, I will get a hold of the GL guys to see if they have a...

Need NHC-250 in a can hauled from PA to NC

Kenny - I'm not telling on grounds that I may incriminate myself :) Mike - I may need it before then, but if not, that would be awesome. It is 79" L X 63" H X 43" W in the crate and the whole deal weighs around 4000 lbs I believe.

Need NHC-250 in a can hauled from PA to NC

I have a rebuilt NHC-250 engine in a can sitting at the Mechanicsburg GL site. I am awaiting my approved EUC. I would like to get it hauled from there to John Winslow's place in Halifax, NC. I can go get it with a trailer and my Excursion, but would rather not spend a whole day during the...

    Frustrating 809-series sprag!

RE: M809 Sprag Repair Congrats! I am glad you figured it out. I wonder how many 809-series trucks are out there with the air lines switched. What a PITA. That's why I like an air-shift front end.

    Stretch's Haspin road train

That's almost as bad as driving a deuce in low range from KY to TX pulling a 5th wheel dolly followed by a low-boy loaded with a bulldozer :)

    Frustrating 809-series sprag!

RE: M809 Sprag I don't recall the size of the socket, Joe. I had to try several by feel before I could get the nut off. It was somewhere between 7/16" and 9/16" I believe.

    CUCV'S in VA WIN Today

 Just kidding, Mark. I had one of those red tags on my XM818. It was just an ID tag with all of the trucks information on it from where it was turned in. I will try to find mine and get a picture of it for you. I know a good trucker that hauls out of VA if you plan on having it shipped...
