    Howdy, The new AMMPS have built in parallel ability. It also make it possible to load bank more than 1 to many units using parallel loading. Or, in real life, 2 x 5kw units working as a 10kw unit. Or 3 x 5kw units working as a 15kw unit.:cool:

    Howdy, After replacing so many screws with stainless steel parts. I wish on the 2007 unit I changed all the nuts to RIVNUTS. But, that won't happen since I used all stainless steel bolts and nuts with lock washers.

    MEP-802/803 fuel return improvements

    Howdy, MEP-8xx generators have fuel return lines. When you see the hoses weeping, you will want to replace the lines. This is the proper 3.5mm ID which pushes on the hose barbs and does not leak. I repeat = fuel return line... very low pressure line which goes back to the fuel tank.

    24v charging thru slave port

    Howdy, Now after collecting a few green things, I really like having a charger which I can move around. I simply throw it on the slave port and walk away. Since it's a smart charger, I can leave it there a week or month or whatever.

    Howdy, All the optima batteries which I have purchased have been working good so far. I just make sure I abuse them a little in the first week discharging and then re-charging them a few times to make sure I can rely on them.

    Howdy, That is part of the problem. They did not use stainless steel hardware. I have replaced most screws and nuts. The newer units started using caged nuts. That really makes it easy not trying to hold a wrench up above the air filter. It also speeds up the time to take panels off and on...

    Howdy, No Loctite is needed with the proper screws and nuts. MEP-8xx stainless steel screw information The screws with the lock washer K-Lock nut holds nicely.
