I'll look for a number, that should have been the first thing I did. But yes its "cogged" with cross hatch looking pattern.
Currently trying to get multiple small children to sleep so I'll check tomorrow.
Also my truck came from Yermo with a note on it that said "no belt," but it did come with a belt. I wonder if they just threw whatever they could find on there and unbolted the alternator to make it fit.
On the hummer parts guy website they have 3 different belts, one says its for the 400 amp alternator and is slightly shorter. I wonder if thats what I have?

I should clarify, I was able to pop the belt off one of the idler pulleys and create enough slack to secure the alternator. But now I can't get the belt back on, its as if its too short. The tentioner is completely maxed out.
I did some more googling, and it looks like there may be 2 variations...
I looked in the TM's and googled the issue but couldnt find an answer.
My M1151a1 was received from govplanet with the alternator not fully bolted in. I'm trying to add the last bolt, but the problem is that I cant get enough slack out of the belt to move it into position. Is there some other...
I guess I'm assuming that you would have to drop the tank for that, but I haven't looked to see where the sender is. Sounds like its easier than I assumed.
Ended up with type IX CARC because that's what I could find.
I used an MSA Millenium mask with a PAPR setup (powered air purifying respirator) and a new NBC filter which worked wonderfully. The positive pressure ensures that even without a perfect seal you wont be breating anything that doesnt...
This is secondhand information, but I heard a story of a guy who had an H1 with CTIS and got a flat tire in a parking lot...apparently he had something set wrong and it resulted in all four tires going flat since they were all connected with the CTIS plumbing. Allegedly, could be a made up story...
Lol, its a thing you need on the newer aluminum roofs of m1151's. Most of them in service have armored roof overlays that keep water from getting into the top of the doors. If they remove that piece during the demil process, all of the rain will run down the roof and right into your doors.
The...
Made some rain gutters out of 1/4" thick aluminum sheets. I think they look better than the OEM rain gutters (looks like it has the armored roof now).
Also added a turret hole cap, installed a new connector for the main alternator 24v output (had to purchase a giant hydraulic crimp tool for...
I wasn't trying to put words in your mouth, sorry if it came off that way. I was just trying to make an analogy.
And I would gladly use a CARC substitute if someone could make one that actually looks like CARC. I've used Rapco, I've used Behr, and I've spend hours online researching other...
