mounting the crew boxes on a 10 series turret and 11 series turret , i dont want to use the rhino mounts , I want to use the mounts that look like a piece of angle
i have A hybrid turret support that I built , fits a 10 series turret in 11 series truck, check it out in the hot rodding section...
Work started on turret support, new m1114 b pillar tubes and blocks, using 1/4" aluminum to fab a support for 10xx series style turret and 1114 style vehicle support
well we did do the local memorial day parade and took her to put out flags on graves with the vfw and my sons BSA troop

Got these on today, 3m tape was nfg so used boat adhesive, the armored grille sides need washers behind them to take up gap
And you need to cut out a spot the armor grille side panels as shown to allow for clearance
Wipe the hood and panel with laquer thinner first, hoods rigid now, also...

Fully bolted down and welded,next is making the upper jamb
Yes the snorkel intake bracket still fits, it touches a tad so I may mark it and touch with a grinder when I take the roof
One sides done and bolted down,modified the mounts and welded back on, I left the gap on rear of roof for future use and had to massage the edge of the roof for the rear door to open without hitting,went faster then I thought, welds will get made pretty when it's done and I pop it off to do the...
Measured 32" from seam and cut front to back ,removed the roof mounts and set back on got where I wanted it and drew a line at the overlap, ended up 3 3/4" at front and 3.5 at rear ,removed that strip from section I cut off and welded back on
Still need to cut down the roof mounts and weld back...
