Building this seatbelt bracket for driver's sponson, nos passenger already had it

It opens and closes perfect that's the odd thing I'm thinking I made the center pipe too long keeping that driver sponson a little off but noone wants to tell me how long that center pipe should be so I measured and guessed

Issue is I don't load pics to my desktop, they are on my phone or in the cloud,if I post from my phone it's fine, if I use another device it needs to be pulled from the cloud which dosent seem to work without sharing my entire cloud which I don't want That's what I'm trying to figure out 🙂

I have up on this ,ended up getting a good used missing the rear cone and I took the cone from this one Maybe someone else can fix this tube or use the sheet steel part which is nice no rust or dents make an offer

New gaskets with new spacers, I also have a rear wall with doors I may or may not install at some point

Today's progress the cone I needed to use was deformed with a flattened radius, after several heat and beat test and reheat beat and test fit cone is welded on and the sponsons are both mounted with the center pipe in place we will try to dolly it smoother before painting and I need seam sealer...

Slow progress ordered correct seals and spacers, got these installed

Sorry yes the sponsons and hatch are steel I've been hoping to find a damaged or destroyed left sponson with a good tube and door jamb

Yeah I figure probably need to mount to a steel plate and heat the verticle part with a rosebud and try to bend it back in shape The foot ehh...

So when I was buying slant parts only driver sponson I could afford has a damaged pillar tube Looks like someone removed it before maybe to try a fix either way I re removed it, looking for suggestions, the door jamb is also missing but I'll fab that Tube appears to be bent open and the foot...

Are the spacers supposed to go through the body or just the sponson seal?

So the rest of the bolts down the bed sides, manual says 1/4-20 bolts, holes in sponson are too big even with washers, is that size a typo?
