Thanks, what I'm looking for. AC & 6.5TD with OD especially as that's what I was thinking would make a big difference just curious if anybody would have any comments on them.
It's just whether or not I want to take all of them to that point in my spare time.
I'm doubt I'll do them to the...
My trucks I use and I'm not asking about the truck(s) I'm going to keep. I reasonably know about what I want to do.
I ended up with 3 slants and I don't need 3, one of them is going at some point.
So, I'm trying to figure out what the market looks for?
It's just about flipping it as is or...
Ok, we painted 2 doors with the behr. They look pretty good but then we had a paint rep kind of burst our bubble and tell us that the paint will scratch really easy. We actually off road our vehicles where you have limbs and such sliding down the side. Can anyone with the behr paint on their...
Just got 3 slantbacks. Most all need some work. Just trying to map out a plan for them. All are battlefield trucks what have bullet holes and scars. Trying to decide if the scars and holes are best left alone for character or need to be fixed.
Panels have some spots here and there and I'm...
Guy I spoke with said they use the Mastercraft jump version in the back, mount them to the fender well just for the reason you state. The suspension seat should work fine on the drivers side, I'm just curious about the passenger front seat.
First does anybody have an avenue to get these?
Next, I've seen people out there in various threads here and there talking about installing them but has anybody installed 4 of them in a Hmmwv. Looks like there are suspension seats and jump seats.
I'm curious mainly about the passenger front...
Thanks everyone, just had a friend with a truck in the area pick them up on an RGN. Would be nice if anybody gets a car hauler to move one to post info here. Those brokers with the main places, I think they play a lot of games and if you aren't careful I think you could end up without your...
To anybody answering what you used, the question still remains did the wiring harness you got plug in to the existing connector or did you have to modify it?
Thanks
US Shift sells the wiring harness. The question is does it plug directly into a 4L80e from a military vehicle. I thought the plug "receptable" for the harness was the same on all 4L80e's.
I've got a 4180e and a NP242 I'm trying to mate up to a 6.5. I got them separate, and I think I'm missing an adapter between the 4180e and NP242 transfer case, correct? I saw some 6 bolt adapters on ebay but I'm trying to verify exactly what i need.
Anybody have a part number or description...
I've been trying to search and haven't found a resounding answer. We're getting some 6.5 complete drivetrains with 4L80e transmissions. We are getting the controller boxes but wiring harnesses are cut. I've read most are going with stand alone controllers such as TCI. I think I'm going with...
You can bring it over here. :) But not this weekend. Heading to Uwharrie for some wheeling tomorrow and have to move a friend on Sunday. Actually Sun morning you could come over.
I actually have two plugs from Kascar left over. You're welcome to use them and just replace them.
P.S. Be a...
Finally got around to opening a package I had sitting in the living room for a couple of weeks. Pleasantly surprised to see some drain plugs I forgot I had ordered.
So got out my handheld propane torch, heated each plug for about a minute and got mine out with a set of Vice Grips.
Thanks...
Definitely check neutral as has been mentioned. If not that then start working your way backwards. If you have a friend, get a volt meter and put the positive on the "ignite" wire on the starter solenoid. (On mine there are 2 small wires that come together and you can access them easily under...
Thanks Derrick112,
I don't see why one wouldn't fit on the top like in the picture of the trailer you sent. Fender wells shouldn't have anything to do with that. I have my own 16' trailer and hauls it fine. Trying to see if the brokers are trying to get me, don't know or I'll just have to...
Had a broker tell me they wouldn't fit but kind of find that odd since all the quote sites allow you to enter a Hummer.
If you have had it done, who did you use? I'd rather find a good carrier instead of going through a broker.
Thanks.
If I go with 39.5's, I'm assuming I need a 1" body lift, correct? I purchased some hockey pucks as RWH has recommended on other threads. Just haven't installed them.
