New injectors and rebuilt pump. Runs like a champ! 700 for the rebuilt pump at Midsouth Diesel in Memphis. Pricey but well reviewed, local to me, and well worth it me be able to drop it on the counter in person if it aint right.
I am installing my newly rebuilt IP, and the manifold gasket I got for the 84 blazer, is not for a J code motor, it has the holes for the pre-heater, will this work or do I need to order the one with the holes filled?

I know the brakes are the issue. I was within the max load for the truck by about 100 pounds, and only took it above 65 on those long flat straight desert highways in AZ, NM, and TX.
