Photos from last saturdays parade and one of the duce pulling out a tow truck . You cant see it but the front of the tow truck is on good ground . The rear is on shake sand and sunk like a rock .

Theres a trailer plug , one has to think it is capable of carrying the voltage to run trailer blinkers !

Did my research , found the schematic for the trailer plug on the deuce .
Made up a test light with a standard 24V tail light bulb . Turn on L blinker and when i tested it the flasher stopped flashing . Tail light stays on but it seemed to burn out the flasher .

Well compared to any other truck 4th and 5th are swaped . The shift pattern is 4 down , 5th up . Id bet he dont realize that and is use to civilian trucks .

Been reading and thinking on this , I agree on the rubber hoses . They can colapse inside and wont let fliud back . Seen it on old motor homes and stuff several times . Acts like a caliper hung and its a hose .
Its not a complicated trans . Sounds like a bearing issue . Quite under load , louder at a level pace . Any shops around you that work on manual trans ? They could probable take a short ride and have a good idea from the sound it is making . Lot cheaper to replace a bearing now then a trans later .
