i have cruised at 75-80 i think in my truck... i was in the left lane on I95 and not holding up traffic but my spedometer doesn't work. says i was doing 45. Its loud as **** in that truck no matter how fast or slow i'm going. only thing i don't like is the slop in my steering.
Ok... i got my pintle hook and spacers and such... i now realize that my truck is missing the mount on the truck. I need the plate that attaches to the bumper. Saturn doesn't have it. Any ideas? or anyone have one?
i ordered mine from odiron.com... still haven't gotten it and it cost me close to 300 shipped. but its allegedly a NEW starter so i'll let you know how it goes when i get it.
i only hear a hum/buzz when i engage the transfer for 4wd. check to see that you are dissengaged in 2H then backup like 10-15ft then unlock the hubs... see if your sound continues.
by not engaging fully are you referring to the starter seeming to not catch? my starter when the truck is cold kinda makes a spinning whirring buzzing sound and doesn't turn the truck over... is this symptomatic of a starter or flywheel prob?

no temp guage... i did dump a mass amount of stop leak in the truck for a temp fix... any way to check the cloggedness of the heater core? like it gets warm... i wouldn't call it hot though
i'm going to be replacing my glow plugs... ALL of them anything i should know. is it like spark plugs? i've never done glow plugs before. let me know of anything to look out for or be prepped for any special tool requirements as well. i love finding an excuse to go to sears
