They are wide and heavy as welldigger mentions, but my 1/2 ton can haul 8000 pounds. It's the brakes that are the problem, and I don't want to blow a head gasket pulling 7000 pounds through any mountains. My 16' flat bed might not handle the weight as it is and I would need a heftier trailer...
