I pretty much live in fear that I will back one of my other vehicles into the Deuce while trying to get out of my driveway.
I really need to build a bigger storage shed so I can put the Deuce in it.

It appears, to my non-engineering eye, that you can pump into the holding tank and out of it, by use of the gate valves.
Looks like you can pre-filter the waste oil going in, and finish filter the stuff coming out.
That's a nice setup, sure would like to do that here soon. I love driving the...
I remember reading this story not too long after Katrina. It really was a selfless thing for him to do, especially in his condition.
I was in Bogalusa (about 60 miles north of N.O.) working at the local hospital at the time. I remember at first the LA National Guard out of Hammond came in...
I can understand that, makes sense.
But this is an active NG post. No GL personnel present on site, but you have to check in at the main post Warehouse and the Sgt in charge will escort you to the fenced yard where GL items are kept.
Not complaining, just find it odd. Seems like it could be...
Hi everyone, got 'nother question.
Called the local DRMO people to inspect some property that will be coming up on GL.
The lady informed me that they can only make appointments for auctions during the auction period itself. In other words, you cannot preview property before the start of the...
A Farmer about 15 miles down the road from me has been using his Deuce for this same purpose. He either took the bed off or modified it so that it is flat, just like a hay wagon.
I've been seeing his truck there for at least the past 10-12 years, but in the last few weeks it's been missing...
First off, my condolences to the family of Shootiniron. The loss of any member is a tragedy no matter the cause.
I drive a CJ-7 in addition to my M35A2, so this is important to me, since neither of them have adequate rollover protection. However, it seems to me that something similar to the...
BJ, what stream is that? Since you're in Zachary, I figure it could be the Amite, or maybe Thompson's Creek? Looks kinda scary, the streams around here, you could drop a tire in a hole and get really stuck.
That CJ looks like it must have Rockwells under it, or certainly something larger than...
Didn't even know about this thread until I read the other one about the shenanigans going on in here.
Welcome from Louisiana.
I say let her in, we need the dues.

As far as I can tell, they are not separate, everything at the DRMO yard at Polk has been released to GL. Now, I could be wrong, but that is my impression, due to what I have observed at other places like below.
It's not like say, at Ft. Sam Houston where you can only inspect items that have...
Last time I went to Ft. Polk to pick up my trailer, I also was inspecting a lot on the yard and was taking photos.
Lady from DRMO came by and said pics were not allowed. I see in plenty of threads where guys take photos at other locations.
Is this legit? Does it apply only to Ft. Polk, or...
Aw man, dunno how I forgot about frog legs. We still go frogging every once in a while. There's almost always a few in the canals and creeks around here, especially when the farmers are draining their rice fields. Some really good eating.
And oysters, man, that's hard to beat.

Awesome thread.
Personally, I think use of the term "coonass" is only offensive if it's intended in that manner.
Lots of Cajuns refer to themselves using this slang term.
