Just won an M105A2 Trailer and EUC is at Battle Creek Already!

Congratulations! I won my first piece of military equipment (M105) on 8/27/10, EUC sent to BC on 8/30/10. Still waiting approval. I already won a M818 since, and currently awaiting on approval of EUC. Careful, once you win the stuff, you just can't stop trying to get more!aua

    M105A2 dually modification

Cool. I like it. I often thought about putting a extra rockwell axle on the M105, and fabricate a driveshaft to run that axle off the rear axle of the 5 ton. Just thinking???:-P

To Bob or not To Bob?

My first MV I am waiting for my 5 ton, and I plan on using it for a weekend driver, not hauling much, just lumber and such. I will have to determine if I can live with the rear dual axles, and if I can gain much by eliminating one. I find it interesting all the people adding rear axles, and...

    Deuce for every day driver?

The fuel economy. Wow, I didn't realize the V10's did so bad. But I've also heard, the 5 tons get about 6 mpg's???

The wait is killing me too! Who knows when my EUC will clear, so I can pick up my 5 ton in Lansing. We will have to meet half way sometime, and cruise the 5 tons around.

    "High 5"

I actually decided on a 5 Ton after seeing what you did with yours. I printed off a picture of your truck, and it is hanging in my garage for inspiration. My plan is to remove one of the rear axles, but keep the duallys with the T831's, just to new to not use. I also have a M105 I should be...

    "High 5"

EUC sent to Battle Creek, so now the wait. Just a few questions I have. Will I need insurance for the truck, if I drive it home about 80 miles? I have heard that on a newly bought vehicle, you are covered in Michigan to get it home. Being a No-fault state???? When I get the truck, I...

    GM 2.5 ton axles

I have one of these GM axles under my 64 International, I had to cut out the center section, flip it 180 degrees, and weld it back on, not easy. The front axle is reverse rotating, so you either have to do what I did (not recommended) or run the front axle upside down. Or get a transfer case...

Honoring Veteran's MV show Nov 13

I'll be there, maybe even with a truck, but I doubt the EUC will go through that quick????

    "High 5"

That would be too convenient, I never get that lucky. Would be great.:jumpin: The trucks looked real nice, and like you said, I thought the same thing about the tires. I would love to bring my son out to Fenton, and see the other MV's. My folks live in Frankenmuth, and my Dad may...

    Deuce idea?

Thanks, good info. I didn't realize the tranny was so short in the Deuce. I actually have a built E4OD, so that would be even longer, it would be hard to set up right without moving the TC back, and making new drive shafts. Has anyone made a adapter so the 7.3 can be fit to the Spicer?

    Deuce idea?

I just won my first GL item, it's a M105 trailer, so of course, awaiting the EUC to clear, I have been watching for a Deuce next. I have really been looking at all the awesome modded Deuces, and have determined a bobbed deuce would be the way to go for me. For driveability purposes. I...
