Did it leak after you drove it? i would think about replacing it in the near future a bearing and shaft rides there on the inside(if I remember right). anything that has corrosion like that has weekend the case and I would replace that cover or the whole thing and keep that one as a parts case.
Firefighterhill Yea i thin out the tank with a few gallons of gas about 5-10 gallons make it about as thin as desiel
Katahdin I started off using that pump becuse it was in 55 gal drums and it was scarry and i took it back and got that one and it would not push the oil thou the filters...
I have made a easy pump set up for wmo or atf. Here all i used for it was a air powered pump from harbor freight $80, 2 goldnrod filter housings from northern tool $40 apiece, 1 golden rod mesh strainer $18, 2 3/4in. x1.5 in. pipe $3 apiece, 1 3/4in. x male hosepipe thread $4, 1 50ft. hose...
Cattlerepairman. How hard is it to get the frames apart I saw all the little screws and bolts. Are they all I have to remove and take the rubber seal off the out side and pry in the track where the seal sits? Any tips or trick you used with getting yours loose?
The water does not bother me from me getting wet. I have rode harleys many times in the rain. I just want the frame from rusting on the inside out. Do they come apart easy, is there a seal or just use a sealent inside? DH I have changed all the outer seals that was bad and I figured it would...
Ok i was driving along in the rain and i kept seeing water coming in and started looking and found that the water was coming thou the frame around the glass and back around. I found this by bubbles at the frame and glass as i rode down the road. I don't want to take the easy way out by just...
Filled up with ATF for free, Hauled a load of scrap off (1800lbs of it), and rode around like always holding up traffic and blowing black smoke out for the Hybrid cars to breath in. :driver::driver:
Yea i like to go topless with the windshield down and watch the cops look with the face like is that even legal like that. I also value the input from some where in Texas about the heat if any ones gonna know it would be them on how to beat it.
I saw those but what about when you submerse the trailer in the water. I know on the boat lights the wires are sealed in the housing where they go in. Would the Omnivolt take being submersed with out any problems? I know it says " Electronics completely sealed in epoxy to resist
moisture &...
Does any one make a dual voltage bulb for the common bulbs like 1157, 1156, 194, and others that i could just put in a civy boat trailer with out having to swap bulbs and keep all the same housings being you have to put them under to let the boat off. I really don't like the idea of changing...
Yea, i saw the price on those but, i have 2 brand new off road lights sitting around and they are free. I was just trying to figure out if i could do this with out blowing the bulbs out or worse from trial and error.
Yea i thought if that too i was just going to hid them in the back so i can see at night to back up. WE all know it lacks light back there for night time movement backwards. Never understood why no lights where on the back for backing up even if it was on a locked switch on the dash to turn it on.
OK i have a idea i don't know if it will work or not. If you take two 12 volt lights wire them in a series and use the last light in the ground with the first one as power. i know ill have to get lights that don't ground out at the base it has to have the two wires on it. Wouldn't it pull a...
I will try that next time i drive it. I don't know about yall but its to warm already I don't want to see the dog days in august if this is any sign of whats to come.
