Not a military diesel, but my 40KW Mankato generator.. When the power frequenctly goes out, it automatically starts. Starts to consume diesel at 1.2 gallons per hour that is.
I have heard of diesels running on propane or natural gas, can canyone explain this and suggest how I might do it? I...
I bought a M105 trailer off a local and honest guy and I am 100% convinced all is legit, but he can't find the title. Years have passed. I had no problem registering it as an untitled trailer, but I can't register it as a HMV and run plateless with "bumper numbers" without a title. I been...
I did the plumbing and mounted the pump today. It took me all day. I am wore out! Later, the electronics will be hooked up.

Lately, when I engage the air shift, it engages OK or so it seems, and when I disengage it, I believe it takes some litle time to disengage.
The syptom is that the light is sometimes late to come on, and sometimes stays on after the lever is flipped OFF for a few seconds to a couple minutes...

If we can narrow it down and sort of agree where in the aether to meet, it'll be more fun.
I didnt list FRS/GMRS due to the very...
The M35' driver side lower cab door hinge is shot, I cannot disassemble or remove it except perhaps by unbolting it from both door and truck. The hinge pin is frozen in and half-eaten through. and the 6-lb maul will not help!
Does anyone know who sells them or where a good one can be found?

It needs an external compressor, but at 22000 BTU, it is alot more powerful that the typical 15000 BTU 120VAC operated rooftop unit.
The forward-facing intake on the Red Dot condenser also...
I kindly ask for some advice..
My M35 pulls to the right a bit. The faster you go, the more it pulls. I have equalized all pressures in the tires and all the joints and knuckle pins are lubed. I have semi tractor steer tires on front in like-new shape and eight same size NDTs on the back. All...

I drove from dallas to Irving TX and joined in with the Irving ARC (http://www.irvingarc.org/) in erecting antennas, operating radios, and logging contacts from all over the USA...
After finding two luminaires that take PAR36 lamps, and finding a 24V and a 36V lamps to fit, it got me interested in the different PAR-type lamps that might be useful for MVs. I ended up digging through a large pile of surplus lamps and found a pair of 150 watt 28V PAR46 lamps as well as a 60W...
No matter what kind of filter setup, stock, remote spin-on, adapter-mounted, drain or no drainback, guards or no guards..

This is an Iconoscope camera from a WWII remotely piloted bomb. Note the many vacuum tubes. The rest of the system (TV transmitter, power supplies, flight control receiver, etc.. whereabouts unknown). These...
making use of the deuce fuel tank to also run a generator would seem simple, but I could use some confirmation.
deuce fuel tank:
1. has a diesel fuel outlet
2. has a vent tube
3. has a fuel return tube
generator set:
1. has lift pump that can suck the fuel from the M35's tank outlet (whether...
