Well,had the old truck on a 80 mi trip on hiway and maybe im getting used to the difference in the tires as it wasn't as noticeable,got to do some mile off roading on some old oil well roads ,mud maybe a foot deep in places and she bored right on ,barely broke traction and no front end engaged...
I like them,very aggressive ,haven't tried them offroad yet but sure they will fair well,also the xl's tended to have some vibration above 55,these dont .
I recently swapped my 1100 xl's for a set ot 831's on my singled deuce and was wandering at what pressure works best,it tends to want to road walk way more now .im running 52 ish in the rears and 58 or so in front
Yes i did,tore it down today and found diff oil had washed all the grease away,oil level is correct so im thinking the axle vents arent working properly.
I too am having the hot hub problem after flipping my hubs,i'm pretty sure i simply have the bearings too tight,the grease i used was Lucas Red and Tacky,I gotta ask,is this grease acceptable for the wheel bearings in our Deuces?Has anyone else used if for theirs?
