No need in having it rebuilt. Its about a 45 min. Job and you don't really need any special tools. Just need to loacte new bushings and the o-rings. If you want to try and tackle it PM me and I can send you some details on how to do it.
TAZ- it is supposed to be no more than 15V prior to the relay according(i think..its been awhile since I read it) to the TM's-shows the resistor pack is supposed to have 0.28 ohm's resistance. also..I am sending you a PM...need some parts possibly
Not that I can tell. If you want I can get you a price on some poly tranny mounts and engine mounts. I am a retailer for arrow speed warehouse (like Summit)
It just has to do with the style of adapter. The CUCV's all used the tall adapter whether is was for a 208 or 205( so all 2 piece). In the civi ones they used both. I the 80's the more common is going to be the short version that will use the one peice mount.
hmmm....you didn't happen to get a spindle off a ford dana 60 did you? They are shorter. Also, I am trying figure out how get just the pages with the exploded view of the hub and lockouts. Kinda computer illiterate.
DID YOU reinstall the outter snap ring, the one that actually holds the the inner piece in so that when you tighten the screws down it tightens all the way up. One thing you do not want to do is crank down ont the outer spindle lock nut( torque to 85 ft lbs i bleieve). It really has nothing to...
If you need more or bigger send me your email. I'll be out of town until Sunday though.
