5068 and 5073 were the 2 separate auctions of deuces 1 week apart I guess, and neither has been cleared...I did think that I heard at least one person on here had a deuce clear from that sale.
In Michigan you wouldn't have as big a problem as GVW is 160,000; you just need the right amount of axles to support all that weight. We have gravel trains here that they load 50 tons of aggregate on.
I have been looking all over the place and cannot find one of these for sale privately, that is outside of GL--has anyone ever seen one for sale privately? And what price was it?
I know several have been sold recently through GL, who is buying them? Are they being resold?
Everything cleared from event 5199 I think on the same day, I've got other EUC's that have been at BC much longer; but for some reason 5199 cleared. Still waiting on 5073, I think that I have heard of one person who has had something clear from that event.
Everything from event 5199 cleared 6/8, I just got 2 trailers from there and 13mike got a wrecker from there.
Interestingly, I've had a deuce from event 5073 that has gauges missing in the photos, but it hasn't cleared and that was from a couple months ago! One day, when the EUC clears I...
Well, I finally get to update this thread. The 2 original trailers that I won the sale was cancelled. So I bid on a couple more in a lot of 2. I won them for over $200 cheaper than the original ones! Yesterday was recovery day, I pulled one home with my wife's 2004 Z71 Chevy Tahoe. Pulling...
Guys, I think things are starting to clear...I just had something cleared (my first EUC) 5/20 auction closed and 6/7 customer notified. This was for 2 trailers, of course I've already had 2 trailers cancelled because it took so long and I have a m35a2 and bayonets still waiting to clear that...
My event 5199 just cleared today too, so there is light at the end of the tunnel! Still have a truck in event 5073 and some bayonets too in another event...but it feels good to finally get an EUC to clear!
Hopefully what motorcar said is true about everyone, and not just for motorcar!
Then the second hope is that all or stuff that is taking forever is still there and intact when everything finally clears and we go get to pick it up.
I heard that too, but not from a GL rep. I have a truck that is waiting in Anneville, like someone else said, I hope it is all there when I go to get it!
My first EUC was on something I purchased in January, the sale was cancelled exactly 60 business days from the close of the auction. My second EUC is at or near 60 business days and I have 2 others at BC too. No end in sight! I emailed GL management and asked them not to cancel the sale, they...
I agree with whoever said sticker shock. I have tried to sell guns in the past, pull all the loaded ammo I had for that gun, and reloading dies--it might have been a goo price for the whole setup, but was just too high. So I list each item separately and it seemed to work. Actually, if you...
It is odd why they let some go 90 days or more and I get my trailers cancelled at exactly 60 days.
I doubt the criteria they use to cancel is "hoping to get more money", because the trailers that I had cancelled I just won 2 more for $200 cheaper.
Also, it has been well documented that...
Factor in the hemtt wheels, hemtt vavle stems, getting the hemtt wheels milled out, and the adapter plates; plus shipping. Prices range on the hemtt wheels.
The tires are also ranging in price. I happen to have my eyes open and get an incredible deal on the tires. I have about $2000...
I sent an email Attn: Management: Please do not cancel my sale (as recommended here and by Heidi from GL)
I received this reply, thank you for your patience, but our terms and conditions sale all sales taking longer than 60 days will be cancelled at our sole discretion.
A lot of good that...
Mitymac, I've seen the C & C wheels, they are hemtt wheels in the rear, just flipped around so they track the same. The adapter plate is on the outside of the wheel, but turned in towards the truck. I will not be taking my wheels apart though to show you and take pictures, they are too heavy...
With hemtt wheels and the adapter plates, changing the offset is all about where you put the plate. If you put it on the outside obviously the tire will be closer to the fender well. If you knock out all the studs and put the plate on the inside (replacing the studs) it will sit farther away...
I got a letter from DoD this week basically saying that I was recently checked out because I purchased demil equipment. Not sure what that means, but I haven't been notified yet.
