there was no vent on the glad hand. Opened it up and the brake is symptom free. Of course we can't leave it open. Maybe the vent is on the frame ? This truck is in another state miles away BTW
yeah the hubs will run dry , add some gear oil , and Will is right ... you'll need to pull F&R driveshafts . Confirm you have all the door parts ( as represented ). Door locks ect are hard to come by , but I saw some for sale today , expensive
Felix is a great guy. He'll seriously reach out to help , but I have seen him overwhelmed. If I'm picking up at GL I try to call to preview GP and I haven't had much luck in trying to do that.
GP has been fair with me I think. I went to pickup a trailer and they damaged it with a forklift before I got there. I told Felix I was leaving it , and they refunded me in a few days. I contact both headquarters and then the site manager to schedule , have everyone involved.
I have the Fermont built MEP-802A. The military set it up , ran it 7.8 hrs and drained it for storage , so I'm now ready to fuel it up . MIL-L-2104C, OE HDO-30.
What is the best oil for it ?
yep , a 5 ton offroad truck with real tight tolerances would generate some real issues for ya when some gritty action comes your way , like not being able to open or shut a door
