Does anyone know what generator is supposed to go into the generator tunnel of a s788 shelter?
I bought one from GL and it has AC installed but the generator has been removed.
Thank you,
Corey
Many people haven't been paying 10k for a GP truck in almost a year. and this is a 6.2 engine. And just because someone online asks for 16k for one with a title doesn't mean they're getting it.
The guy ask for opinions and I gave him my opinion just like you have now.
Personally I didn't pay...
From what I gather those trucks are not coming from the army, they are usmc trucks and belong to a private party that is listing them through GP. So they can do a reserve price.
I was curious if any of you out there that have installed these systems on M998 have any suggestions?
I recently picked one up from a fellow member on here and will be installing it on my M998.
Thank you!
Corey
Hello, and welcome!
I would say that 10k is a fair price for a decent runner with a soft top and soft doors. The M998 or M1038. The hard back versions your speaking of....are they slanted down in the back? or just more like a wagon top?
The slant backs are the M1025, M1026 type of trucks and...
Does anyone know what thickness or grade of steel the supplemental armor skins on the X-Doors were?
I know there is a guy on epay selling new steel sheets that are precut and drilled for this, but I didn't know what the correct thickness or grade is.
Thanks,
Corey
You have to plug the ipad/whatever the device is into a transmitting device. there are youtube videos about it using a wireless headphone setup from a popular radio hutt store. but they no longer make it. so you will need to locate something that broadcasts on 49.9 Mhz
Hi,
I am curious if you can use the CG-3855 cables with the RT524/R442 and either a AS-3900 or AS-1729?
I know that it should work with the CG-1773 cables and AS-1729.
I am trying hook all of this up in a hmmwv for a VRC-47 setup. I have also read that you can use the LS-671 speakers with the...
Here is my setup so far.
The LS-671 will connect up with the MT-1029, but not the mount for the 442. This is done using the CX-13292 cable.
I mounted the speakers back where the were when I received the truck from the Army. It did have a FBCB2 in it though, as it had the mount for the GPS...
Does anyone know where the LS-454 loud speaker is supposed to be mounted in a hmmwv?
And what lengths of the CG-1773 cables will I need for the 524 and 442? These are going to be back corner fender mounted bases.
Thank you,
Corey
Here is an updated pic, just added a few pieces I had from other projects.
Thought I'm pretty sure that's not where the decon bottle goes, it does make a good conversation piece for passengers!
This is my current radio setup (or lack there of) for my truck. I plan to put an RT524 and RT442 in it that do not work and have the parts gutted out of them for the most part. I then plan to have a speaker and inside the 524 and a way to connect an Ipod to the speaker through the front plate...
I thought about using the X-door hardware, but I think that most of the trucks being released use the soft door hardware and that would make it a more attractive item to them. But I do understand the weight concern.
Dan, This is true. There is a company out West that is doing an all aluminum...
